Both of the idea authors admire taking a shower, not together though :) However, we have rarely thought of how much water we usually consume ineffectively by spending 30 min under the shower. After discussing this issue with other "shower-lovers" it became obvious that the primary reason for spending 30min in the shower is the lack of any time reminders around. To solve this problem and to make keeping time more fun to do, we decided to introduce a "traffic light" system for the sink or the shower, but call it "water light".

A long tube built into a slider leading from a side easy insertion level to a point just over cone leading to the base centre. At top in interior is a mangle crusher feeding into and old paper shredder. You 'load' PEP bottles into the tube. You then slide it upright (using screwed in 330ml bottle handles) to drop into the cone. This action activates the blade, only once the tube is well out of reach. The shredder drops the shards into a cone-shaped pile.

What if giving money for a good cause was made fun? We propose the ‘Giving Made Fun’ campaign. We propose using parking meters and placing them in busy walking streets. The parking meter will have a sign on it saying ‘Giving Made Fun – funds raised will support Charity XYZ.’ The parking meters will be retrofitted in order to take coins as well as notes. When someone inserts a coin and twists the dial, the parking meter will start playing funky disco music, simultaneously performers will start dancing to the beat.

This is designed to stop people from littering the street with cigarette buts. It uses the game of chance to make people want to bin there cigarettes. It is a wall mounted ashtray with a fruit machine built in. When you put your finished cigarette in to the top of the ashtray it will start the game. You only get one try. You pull down the handle and spin the wheels, depending on how the wheels stop you will get a prize. The prize could be a piece of chewing gum, or a whole pack.

People like motor sports and especially car racing. How can they get in a car race and be a part of that? They can wear a styrofoam racing car on there hip and race on the track, with sector and lap times to be simultaneously shown on the lcd screen.
Running against a racing car is fun...

Treadmills and exercise bikes at the gym are a great way for people to work
out regardless of the conditions outside. The problem is that they're boring
and monotonous, and there's no incentive to push yourself (unlike running
outside, when there's always someone to try to catch up to).

The solution: Treadmill Racing.

Network a series of treadmills and exercise bikes so that each one knows how
fast its user is running/pedaling in relation to the other users. Project

The basic idea of this project is to teach to people to make the queue. This is a real problem in public places (where there is not a conditioned queue for safety issues) and a real problem in many countries like Italy.
How the project is: 1. create a "queue area", a line that indicate the pathway for the persons, you can make it funny by using lights or other stuff, but it's not compulsory; 2. the area "outside" the queue must become a noisy area and people must be embarrassed on walking on it.
